Are Final Expense Pre Set Appointments Worth it?

Final Expense Pre Set Appointments are crap, get your own fresh leads now - Contract with Complete Solutions Inc.We are often asked about whether final expense pre set appointments are worth a grain of salt. While pre set final expense insurance appointments do sound very exciting and lucretive it can be frustrating dealing with the many companies that offer pre-set final expense appointments.

Our advice to them is to hire someone that they can control to call final expense leads and schedule their own final expense pre set appointments. This way they not only get pre set final expense appointments without the cold-calling but they can also control what questions are asked, and can be certain that the appointment is solid and not a flake.

From personal experience, we know that its horrible to show up at a final expense appointment and the prospective client is not aware that we are selling final expense, or they might think we are there to sell them medicare supplement or something unrelated to final expense. Most final expense appointment setting companies only ask enough questions to get the prospect to say yes to a meeting, whereas an in-house team can ask the questions to further qualify the lead and make sure that the lead isn’t confused about what we are selling.

In the many years that we’ve been in business we have tried and tested out some of the pre set final expense appointments and they almost never resulted in a sale, and the prospects are hardly ever as warm as we would like them to be. Most of the pre set final expense appointments were oblivious of the fact that I was there to sell them life insurance, many even thought I was there to sell medicare supplement, and ended up being a huge waste of time.  To contrast that, when I hired my own appointment setters the results were a lot more in-line with my goals and the appointments always had a better chance of resulting in a sale, and every person we visited

Bottom line on Final Expense Pre Set Appointments

To recap, be wary of companies promising riches by setting all your appointments for you. If you’re still set on trying this lead method be sure to find a company that will give you a trial run of at least 10 final expense appointments and always use a credit card so that you can dispute the transaction if the company fails to deliver the results that you are promised.  Many of the companies out there make their business through 1-2 time purchases by agents who don’t know any better. Many of these companies specializing in final expense pre set appointments are crooks, so if they do screw you over, be sure to dispute it and don’t feel sorry about the chargeback.

  1. [...] Final expense pre set appointments is one type of lead many agents seek after, mostly because of phone-fear. Agents would rather have someone else pre-set their final expense appointments, than themselves. [...]

There are a number of lead brokers that offer pre-set-appointments but they are usually crap leads and about 6 times out of ten, you will get to the person’s home and they won’t have any idea why you are there and will be mad at you for coming without calling. The only way to trust pre-set leads is if YOU or a trusted employee of yours sets the appointments for you and asks the client qualifying questions that you pick.
